Does the host (old smart phone / tablet) connected to SmartAirCon need to be open all the time? Will the screen be too bright during night and affect users’ sleeping?

As for the general operations, we allow the user to keep the state of SmartAirCon app in background. There no need to keep the screen on with your mobile phone / tablet.
Also, the SmartAirCon App features a night-time display mode which will minimize the screen brightness at night to minimize the effect on user's sleep. This mode will automatically activate from night(22:00) to tomorrow morning(08:00).
